I just watched the Passion of the Christ… lol?
I liked how half of the movie was Jesus covered in blood or being whipped while dramatic music and slow motion effects were used, while the other half of the movie was spent shifting all of the blame to the Jews.

I especially liked how Mr. Gibson completely ignored the fact that Jesus’ last supper was a passover seder, and no high council of elders in any Jewish community at that time would do what they did in that movie during the week of Passover.

I was laughing the entire movie honestly.
And no, I am not Jewish. It does not take a religion scholar to be able to point out the obvious flaws and biases in that movie

Exactly. Lol.

Let me guess, you are Jewish?

I am Muslim, but I also watch this film with my Orthodox friend, and I felt very much emotion from it, even though some parts of the story are different to my religion. But we know the sacrifice Jesus(pbuh) went to to bring God’s word to us.

I was actually kinda bored myself. I’m not really into torture porn.

Me too….seriously, it was overly dramatized. If I were Jesus I’d be insulted.

Then again, If I were Jesus I’d be ashamed I let any of you humans live and the fact I had to have sacrificed….I’d hate you all and send you all to Hell.

I’m not a Christian but if I was I would be much more concerned with what he did during his lifetime rather than how the Romans brutally tortured people back then.

One day, you will eat these words. But until then you will just reap what you sow.
Play with fire and get burned, you will see.

I think you might want to read the Bible and find some answers. As John 18 & 19 and Matthew 26 shows–it was the custom to release one prisoner at the time of the passover. The Jews picked Barabbas and not Jesus. The governor/ judge (Pontius Pilate) asked the JEWS what they wanted done to Jesus and they yelled "crucify him" These were the wishes of the JEWISH people.
Do you find it funny to see someone tortured? Wow. Kind of warped aren’t you? Jesus went through all this to save us from the penalty of sin…that includes you !!!

2000 years later and you’re still mocking and denying.

is the irony loss on you too?

the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Good Luck
